LARYNGOTON

Stimulation current as complement to the conventional voice therapy

The LARYNGOTON controls current pulses via a throat microphone thus regulating the patient’s vocalization. The electrical stimulation acts at the same time as the patient’s vocalization. When the voice is completely lost, it is also possible to emit continuous current pulses with a frequency between 0.5 and 3 Hz.
Likewise, palsies of the facial nerve can also be treated with the LARYNGOTON.

Applications

  • voice disorder due to muscular weaknesses
  • palsies of the vocal cords
  • nerve damage
  • palsies of the facial nerves
